Spring Break Special Hours

Closed: Saturday March 10 & Sunday March 11

Reduced Hours: Monday March 12 – Friday March 16 (Open 9am – 5pm)

Closed: Saturday March 17

We resume regular hours Sunday March 18

Labor Day Closure

Brookens Library will be closed in honor of Labor Day Sunday, September 4th & Monday September 5th. We will re-open with regular hours Tuesday September 6th.

Yes it’s true – Brookens Library has gone mobile. We have created a mobile website to provide another access point to our resources and services. This site can also be helpful for YOU – a faculty member. How you ask?

Hours – this is not only helpful for you – but also for you students. Our hours change frequently throughout the year due to holidays, intersessions, breaks, and special occasions. Now you can access our hourly information directly from your phone by visiting our mobile site – check it out!

Databases – There are multiple databases that are accessible via mobile device and we have highlighted those for you and your students convenience. Simply go to our mobile site and select “Research Tools” – Here’s the direct link: http://library.uis.edu/m/research.html

Contact Info – What’s helpful about this both for faculty and students (but particularly for students) is when you click on contacts it brings up the main options and since you are on a mobile device you can just push to call the respective number! How convenient!
